Mother and her two daughters steal tubers of yam from a pastor's farmland
The mother and her two daughters stole three bags of tubers of yam from the farmland of Pastor, Ojo Oluwasanmi.
Chief magistrate, Victoria Bob-Manuel, who discharged them said she did so because of the plea made by Oluwasanmi.

She said:
“But going by the prayer of the complainant, who is a man of God, the
court hereby yields to the mercy pleaded by the complainant and they are
discharged and acquitted."
“The offences they committed attract
minimum of seven years imprisonment each, but they should thank God and
the complainant who has shown open heart.”
Bob-Manuel
however, warned them that if they are seen around the farmland of the
complainant they would be held liable for any offence committed there.
